Mobile Heavy-Duty Vehicle Emissions Testing

HD Carb Check is a CLEAN TRUCK CHECK Credentialed Tester providing emission testing services for all diesel and alternative fuel heavy-duty vehicles over 14,000 lbs. GVWR. We perform on-site testing with instant reporting to CARB for OBD equipped vehicles or email-based reporting for non-OBD vehicles.

SERVICES OFFERED

Emission testing for all diesel and alternative fuel heavy-duty vehicles over 14,000 lbs GVWR. *A travel fee may apply for locations outside of the West Inland Empire region, please call/text (909) 636-2389 for more info

On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) Test

$150

  • Required for 2013 and newer model year diesel engines or hybrid systems with 2013 and newer model year diesel engines
  • Required for 2018 model year and newer alternative fuel engines or hybrid systems with 2018 model year and newer alternative fuel engines

SAE J1667 Opacity Test

$200

  • Required for 2012 and older model year diesel engines or hybrid systems with 2012 and older model year diesel engines
  • On-road vehicles equipped with an off-road engine*
  • Price Includes Visual/Functional Inspection


*An off-road engine used in an on-road vehicle is a rare situation and must be approved by CARB

Visual/Functional Inspection (ONLY)

$150

  • Visual Inspection of engine and emission components
  • Required for 2012 and older model year diesel engines or hybrid systems with 2012 and older model year diesel engines (Included with SAE J1667 Opacity Test)
  • Required for 2017 model year and older alternative fuel engines or hybrid systems with 2017 model year and older alternative fuel engines
